It runs on MacOS, Windows, and Linux. Additionally, it can be self-contained and run off a USB Flashdrive, exposing it's UI for other computers via a self-broadcasting http://edge.local:8080 web address on your LAN, allowing tablets, or mobile devices to use it. The Web UI endpoint then allows you to make use of the compute of the desktop it's running on for the local AI inference, or try out the experimental client-side web inference accelerated by WebGPU!
